I think if your into beers not wines and old fashioned a good tip would be to stay away from fruity cocktails and go for citrus based ones. My favourite is a bramble which is gin with blackberries, apple juice and lemon juice. Although, I think you can never go wrong with a G&T!

you can always order drinks like lime and soda, lemonade, coke etc. Would easily just look like a mixer if people think your weird for not drinking (ie, idiots) and still gives you a drink to hold if your find it hard to not drink!
