tbh at least you stick to one system. In the uk we are just confused.

I understand what you mean. I am English though so maybe its different, the only people who go on about being proud of being British are nearly always racists, and same with people who fly flags in there houses etc.
my ex housemate has something very similar I think. started as small exaggerations but got so extreme that the most recent one was claiming she was pregnant and had an abortion. We think its that (possibly the same here) she genuinely thought she was, got told she wasnt by the doctor and then just refused to believe…
oh yeah the dialogue is hard at times, but then they speak in quite strong accents if i remember rightly so that might not help...
it was a bbc mini series a year or so ago i think, was quite good really!
This is also a problem I will face (at some point in the future though...), my last name is 10 letters and I have yet to come across a single name that hyphenates well with it - mainly because lots of people already assume it is a hyphenated name/ get confused and think the first bit is actually my first name.
I dont have a yearbook photo because I dont think we did them, but this is my twin sister and me at the leavers prom thing when we were 16 (UK so go to sixth form after this).
Bikinis are definately not inappropriate, but maybe more impractical for a kid? I mean, if your going to put your kid in a bikini why not just the bottoms and not bother with the top half as well.
pretty solid parenting considering the fact that US alcohol laws are notoriously stupid (I mean 21? who the fuck are they kidding with that as if people won’t drink before!).
i kind of understand hospital drug tests, as in make sure you arent stealing perscription stuff (I dont know if thats done here) but seriously? usher?
well like it said, the food that isnt edible (if no one at the charity takes it either im guessing) then it can be donated to farms as compost.
No I would imagine theres stuff like romeo/juliet laws.
I think part of the solution would be to make academia a more comfortable place for women. As in, women should be encouraged more to do Masters and PHD’s (actively encouraged I mean and made to feel they are wanted etc), because the more women are in that situation, the more it should trickle down. And whilst ‘token’…
Oh great thats not tooo different to what i do with my hair.
I think the problem could be that twitter isn’t the right medium? as in in 140 characters you can’t exactly explain the nuance to your argument, so unless you actually understand the context etc you have a whole load of people shouting racist!
I think this is were the UK and the US massively differ.
Fair enough it isn’t for everyone, I’ve just always had short hair so to me just above shoulder (as it is now) is really pretty long!
In fairness the UK has paid maternity leave (for now...following the election who the fuck knows anymore), and I don’t there is huge disparity between hiring of women in the UK and the US or a larger pay gap.
try a beach spray thing? I use one and it gives me lovely curls (I am curly already but the shit one between wavy and curly that often just looks like a triangle). I am going for this next I think, any tips from people on how to look this fab everyday?
Okay this might not super popular as an idea but go for a bob?
