A. Posting the article that covered the study is not the same as posting the abstract or the scientific paper.

Do you honestly think that none of these women considered adoption before ponying up the cash to harvest and freeze their eggs? Or does suggesting to the possibly infertile that they adopt make you feel better about yourself?

Except it's an athletic scholarship. You don't apply to those and rich kids get them all the time. The vast majority of athletes at my expensive school are well off, attended great schools and don't need them either.

I think I'm more shocked that someone would allegedly pay 110 million dollars to have sex with someone else. That's just outrageous. I'm glad she and her legal team are fighting back.

She just linked a press release (no abstract, no paper), which is just as useful as linking an AP/CNN article that covered it.

A. Studies don't prove anything and you suggesting that it does shows that you don't have much background in science. Studies provide evidence that can either be refuted or supported at a later date. Furthermore, science can't prove most things.

Haha, this is exactly how I felt when I saw that line.

I absolutely agree with this as well. I think making civil unions the only legally recognized entity in the land (that anyone can have, regardless of orientation) would make the most sense.

So, girls tried to go to school and someone decided the correct way to handle the situation was to POISON THEM???

Now, at 33, she's running on an unapologetically pro-choice platform and an "expert on women's health policy."

Yep, it's probably true. Lindsay has never struck me as one who is serious about her sobriety.

I think a huge problem with tech (and business, frankly) is that there's not a lot of exposure to it early on. How do you know if you like something if you've never been exposed to it?

You almost have to be impressed with Pete's ability to manipulate, spin, and lie like that. He's scum, but at least he doesn't try to deny or hide it. The rest of the partners' complacency was worse.

"That Jaguar account is going to blow up in their faces."

Yep. He doesn't deserve Trudy and Tammy.

I understand her motives and I agree with your assessment of them, I just don't believe that a bunch of executives pre-feminist movement would have any qualms against whoring her out again if someone wanted her. They didn't force her to do it before, she chose to see Herb.

The image = How I'd feel if that happened

I seriously believe that Joan's going to discover the embezzlement anyway. I can absolutely see her becoming the partner who "deals with the money because she can't be seen by clients" (Pete would probably pull some shit like that) and figuring it out. Whether the rest of my fantasy pans out is yet to be seen.

I know. What's to stop them from whoring her out to Herb again if he wants? Or to anyone else, for that matter? Sure she's a partner, but she can't outvote them.

-In my head, I've been running through 1000 ways I would kill Pete Campbell if I had the chance. Pete is truly the scum of the earth. Vincent Karthesier is a brilliant actor to make me hate his character so much.
