I'm trying not to be too confrontational with this commenter, but yeah, petty is too mild a word to describe the behavior of commenters on this article.

I think the issue is that the criticisms have been pointed squarely at this girl, who while privileged and lucky, was by no accounts a jerk and did not write this article.
I read a lot of the comments. Yours have been fine.
Then take that up with Katie; she's the one who wrote this article and made that comparison. There's no need for commenters to attack Marina, who is dead, over an article that she did not write.
Oh, I have no idea if she's rich (I'm going off what other commenters have said), especially since many people at schools like Yale are absolutely not rich or extremely privileged (though there is a degree of privilege one gets from being at an Ivy).
So she's pretty, white, rich, and attended an Ivy League school. And yes, other people die every day.
Kind of like this?
I agree with the questions about your daughter. I would ask her how many times she has met her and (during another conversation perhaps) lay out what boundaries/expectations you have for someone who will be living with and probably helping to raise her.
I guess what made it worse for me is that now she's the partner who they can whore out if they want to/need to because she agreed (Though I don't think everyone knows she's divorcing, only Don explicitly knows because she told him). My heart broke for her when Don did the voiceover about beautiful things that people…
I thought it was such a bad move on her part. I understand the desire to gain financial independence and it's awesome that she can support Kevin on her own now.
I agree on both, but particularly Joan.
Pete Campbell is the single largest piece of foul, diseased, rotting shit that has ever graced my television. If he was a real person, I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire. The only redeeming part was that he actually followed through on Joan becoming a partner, but he doesn't get credit for upholding an agreement…
HAHAHA, are you me?
What did you think about the rest of the episode? I think this one was one of the best of the season.
I know, I definitely wasn't expecting that! I'm glad she left, Don had been unapologetically treating her like shit for episodes.
I mean, I could get behind her becoming a partner, but not like this.
Pete is the slimiest asshole fuck on the whole show.
Mad Men Spoilers in the reply.
Yoga. SL today is grateful that I started yoga when I was 16.
No, I totally get what you're saying.
