That all may be true, but who needs to deal with the added stress of being moved to an ambulance while in labor with the knowledge that something's wrong with your baby? I definitely would prefer to be somewhere that can provide me with services to manage the situation immediately while they prep for an emergency

I'm a HUGE Dr. Amy fan, btw. She tells it like it is and does not suffer fools gladly. I love her blog.

Well, duh.

This gif sums up how I feel now that my sister's grad party is over. It went really well, but my mom managed to make everyone miserable for a solid month leading up to it. So, not really a fair tradeoff, right? She also was a huge jerk to everyone and kept commenting about how "I'm not really this helpful at home"

I didn't slap him, but he got the tongue lashing of his life, to say the least. I was pretty shocked that one of my close friends thought like this. It seems the desire among men to marry a well-educated woman and have her stay at home is on the rise (At least, it is at my school and among my older friends).

I love Cake Vodka too. It's also great with coke/root beer/Dr. Pepper.

I agree wholeheartedly and I want to say that I don't think that it is a bad choice to be a stay at home mom. I don't think that type of work is worthless or useless.

You know what? I completely agree.

That was largely my mother, who started working again after 17 years out.

I'm fairly certain the answer is yes to both of those questions. I think you can appeal on the grounds of inadequate representation.

I'm applying to a joint MBA/MPP program.

Thank you for the well wishes!

What a satisfying outcome. I hope his victims can sleep a little better knowing that Sandusky will be in prison for the rest of his miserable life.

Ah, I guess we can suffer together. I don't think it will be too bad, but I don't want to relearn exponent rules and memorize words! Good luck to you! What grad program are you applying to?

:(

Hmmmm...I'll keep that tip in mind in the future. But alas, I don't have any cake mix. I do have all the fixings for sugar cookies, I'm just feeling lazy.

I got my GRE books in the mail.

I also love Venus de Milo.

I'm a sucker for Vermeer (and all Baroque art really).

When does all of this stuff go into effect? Is it still the August 1st deadline (meaning I can call my insurance company and badger them then)? I'm absolutely shocked to see Michigan is on this list.
