I'm with you there, 25-30 FPS is about the range I won't visibly notice changes and is completely acceptable. 60 FPS actually makes me motion sick, which is odd, so I'm always locking it at 30 anyways(I realize I'm probably stand alone in this).

They haven’t even started the DLC, which has been reported numerous times across numerous sources.
XIV also had a horrendous release, had a complete change of dev. team, shut down for a year or two, got completely remade and rereleased. So it took the game falling flat on it’s face to become good.
As a movie it’s still a Con. Fans of the game understand that, but just a regular movie goer? They’re going to hate it to death for that reason.
Whenever I need a good laugh I watch the CinemaSins video for The Room. The bonus round is epic.
It was a decent film, however having the Final Fantasy name back then held certain expectations. People expected a mixture of sci-fi fantasy that Final Fantasy usually was, chocobos, magic, summons, cid, biggs and wedge, the usual fanfare. Spirits Within didn't deliver what fans expected or wanted, and thus the hatred…
Kingsglaive runs concurrent with the game. There was an article somewhere(Forgot where I read it) that Tabata talked about this scene and how he wanted it to be part of the story(Because it was also the opening segment in Nomura’s original vision where it was Noctis doing all the action instead of Nyx.) but it killed…
No, it's not Kefka, but it is a reoccurring villain in VI who is I suppose beloved. He's a joke character more than anything, but he keeps coming back and loves the opera.
I’ll be perfectly frank, none of their storylines are exactly glowing examples of fine narrative. A lot of them rely on cliché’s and tropes that have been done to death, but they do add their own spin on them with very interesting characters.
I'm happy I'm not the only one who thought that.
Between the 30-40 theaters I have within an hour and a half, only one is showing Kingsglaive, and its only in one screen at one time slot. A packed theater with that limited of access is entirely plausible.
Also the DLC is mapped out. 25$, Some Weapons and cosmetic stuff are in 2 of them, and then 3 are Episodes where you can play Gladio, Ignis and Prompto respectively.
Movie also comes out on streaming next Tuesday if you wanted to go that route. Honestly it's about the same price as movie admission, so if you wanted to see it anyways you can just own it(Well as much as you can own anything digital.)
I was considering going to this, but the theater is almost an hour and a half drive away and it's not playing till 10:45. This review, more or less, convinced me to just wait for a stream release to watch it.
For that last question, I’m answering yes. There's plenty of things we didn't know about that still existed(Atoms for example).
Actually scientifically, particularly in the sub-set of psychology dealing with addictions and pleasure, it could be explained why they have continued to play the game.
An under explained list.
I think that lays out the problem with trying to “visualize” Dune. The inner-monologues are a bulk of the story. I'm sure there are ways to do it, but it's difficult.
I will admit from a character development standpoint I’m already invested in XV. The short anime productions have done a great job fleshing everyone out and humanizing them, which will create an odd narrative for the actual game since unlike past FF’s we come in already knowing their back stories.
Then I shall amend that to “He did not properly communicate with his fanbase.” While I will concede he did communicate, it was still in a wishy-washy vague half truth manner.
