Who the fuck still exclusively has corded tools?

The hybrid model from ford has electric power available on board. Even my Tacoma has power outlets in the bed, I’d imagine other models do as well. I’m not saying that they won’t be in high demand, just that electrical power for tools won’t be why.

Situational awareness?

Just because we get to dogpile on the author... and the bottom car reminds me of the car in the article!

Now playing

I never understood people that obsess over a car color.

I always laugh at how exhaust pipes double once they become exhaust tips. All the race car cosplay...

If I bought it I would never tell anyone any of the backstory under any circumstances, unless MAYBE when selling it.

That is a lot of money just for the opportunity to put people right to sleep trying to explain to them why it’s special.

This seems weird to me

100% of your salary and 100% of the hospital you work in is paid for by the very taxes you complain about.

The Northeast Corridor line is actually the one consistently profitable line on Amtrak. It would be nice if the “High Speed” Acela was actually remotely high speed (relative to the rest of the world). If we had an Acela like Japan’s high speed rail, we’d have a sub 1 hour NYC to DC trip instead of the current trip

I can’t stand this obsession with thinking people that make more money aren’t doing their fair share. In Canada, as a doctor I’m considered well off, but I’m the only person I know that pays 10% tax to the hospital, then another 50% on everything from 120-216k and 54% above 216k and then 15% sales tax on whatever’s

Yup that’s good to know. I’ll be looking for a project car in the next year or so and may consider CL to sell my current car if a paywall seems to keep away the worst bits of CL

Most Americans don’t even know what an RS200 is. Rally was and is more of a European phenomenon. People want to build kit cars based of cars they lusted after as kids. Not enough of those types in the U.S.

Zack is great! He rides right by my neighborhood.  There’s some motorcycle.com traffic through Long Beach as well, I think.  Every time I see someone on a fancy bike I wonder if it’s a reviewer.

So what you are saying is you don’t like a compact, lightweight, reasonably priced, powerful engine (with a ton of additional power potential), huge aftermarket support, reasonable parts prices, that also happens to be reliable, sounds good, and does decently on fuel?  I’d hate to know what motor you think belongs in

This trash better be by the parks not in them.

Everyone gets caught cheating in NASCAR. For me, it was one of the charms of the sport, and they actually have an exhibit about it at the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

I take it you’re referring to him getting a 12 month suspension for having a engine that was like 0.012 cc’s (or about the equivalent of a grain of rice) too big, even though he bought the engine from Ganassi and probably finished dead last anyway?

Hey Richard, how about speaking up about the ultimate gimmick, stage racing? This event is something fans and spectators are actually excited about.
