AvE did a test and they all sort of work the same, even WD40 despite everyone screaming IT’S NOT A PENETRATING OIL on every forum. PB Blaster isn’t that much more expensive but Kroil is definitely not worth cost.

Ah yes, the 2.8 V6. Double the parts of a 22R Toyota 4 cylinder, same-ish power, with 10% of the reliability. They also leaked to an insane degree.
My parents had one. I spent most of my childhood in the waiting room at the Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge/Plymouth/Eagle/AMC/whatever-else-they-were-selling-because-aquisitionsNMergers dealership.
I love these articles and I love all the “seriously don’t do what you are doing find a better Jeep to drive” comments from people who still haven’t caught on.
I was gonna say, seems like a inline motorcycle engine. Developed by Yamaha too.
Watching that really unnerved me when I saw the Youtube teaser for that episode.
You mean a Geely-owned company that primarily makes plush non-performance CUV’s for middle aged middle managers isn’t cool?
Volvos are never cool
Because full size trucks are 60 grand now.
And more weight and expensive tire changes since everything needs to wear equally.
Depends on your use case. My friend has a commercial roofing business and his modern diesel trucks are all super problem prone. Most of his business is fairly local so mileage is less of a concern. He’s switching over to big gas engines. Cheaper maintenance, less quadruple digit priced failures.
I see lots of Superduty style pickups being used to haul 3-4 vehicle car carriers nowadays.
Yeah good luck finding that.
Yeah but an older cheaper car has a much likelier chance of having isues - it’s just probability. Mileage, time, wear, and multiple owners adds up. I commute on a $150 motorcycle I resurrected after it sat for 30 years. It’s been reliable. A Honda with 160,000 miles on it could have no issues for another 100,000 miles…
You don’t want to have your car break down and need $3000 in repairs 2 months into a new job.
Porsche owners change their own oil? HAHAHAHAHAHAAHA
Just buy used stuff and it’s not much of an issue. Motorcycling can be super cheap if you want it to be. Get a 300cc sport bike or 250cc scooter. Oil changes are $10, tires last forever and are cheap, you can do all maintence in front of a auto parts store.
I feel like everyone has their pet tire brand to hate but my mom had some Michelins on her Mazda 3 and they wore out very prematurely and she hated the way they felt.
Me. I want something that can haul a dirt bike in the bed but still get acceptable RAV4-ish MPG.
Drifting hasn’t really been a sole import scene for a long long time. Lots of LS engines, Mustangs, whatever. It’s mostly about what you can piece together locally.
