It really doesn’t matter what the mother is doing. The judge’s decision to illegally lock up the children is insane. There are no circumstances that could justify it.

This is what I was thinking.

Yeah it fixes itself a few minutes later. It’s weird.

And if that judge had incarcerated the kid for refusing that illegal order, people would be demanding their removal as well. I agree though, that many family court decisions are completely without merit. Family court needs a serious review.

Right? If he wasn’t charged, the crime you personally witnessed never happened? What a disturbingly depraved message to send to a child.

Not at all. Detaining the children is completely illegal. The 15-year-old, for example, is old enough to state he doesn’t want to spend time with someone. She has no legal standing to compel him to be around someone, and also, that is not a crime. So detaining him and his siblings is even more egregious!

Lol!

I noticed sometimes Kinja makes it look like that, but then it corrects itself? Maybe it was a glitch.

So what fresh hell is this? The I-hate-my-father to prison pipeline?

You can fix it. By enforcing laws.

Exactly. People need to be fired. Prosecuted if necessary. If these people hadn’t been coddled so much they wouldn’t think they could get away with this kind of behavior.

That’s it right there.

If it’s any consolation, I live here too, and we do call in Kentucky Jelly, because of course we do!

We don’t have to discuss it on a “case by case basis.” We have statistics.

Well that’s good. Maybe I should move there. I even like rain!

Sure it is. Despite the fact that unplanned pregnancy and pregnancy complications are far more expensive to health insurers than birth control, pointing that out is clearly a problem.

Sure sure. Never having to deal with racism does absolutely nothing for you.

Yeah but move to where? Where in the US is better? no place. smfh

No. Because unplanned pregnancy costs far more.

No but you CAN complain to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission.) You can also file a complaint with your state’s attorney general.
