Honestly it was that patience that really impressed me. I couldn't take it, if I owned a DMC-12 it would HAVE to be a garage queen, otherwise I'd go to prison for stabbing the 97th person who asked if I ever got it up to 88MPH, which would probably be about a week of regular driving worth.
I agree, this review was fantastic.
I'm just getting burned out on it all. When DMCNews was going strong, everything was moderated to ensure that viable information was exchanged for car repair and historical facts. Granted, it's evolution that things change, but after taking a break for a few years with only sporadic ventures here and there back into…

What great old car needs to make a comeback? SHOgun! And now is the perfect time. We have a new Fiesta subcompact and a new(-ish) Taurus SHO. Who doesn't want to see that twin-turbo v6 lodged in the boot of the Fiesta?
These two didn't.
Cruise control is not the most efficient way to drive for max MPG. It does exactly the wrong things at the wrong times. Doing up hills you want to slow down a touch (if not in traffic) or increase power output gently. Going down hills you want to let the car speed up a bit.
Does anyone remember the STS? No. No one remembers the STS. Let alone a performance V model. It is therefore the ultimate sleeper, and the only caddy that is superior to the cars that ultimately replaced it.
