Saturday. Blame Saint Justin for changing it.

Leonard Simon ben Dora, baruch dayan emet.

Her skirt was so short I could see her Klimt. Sorry. Had to be said.

Looks similar to Hen Frigates by Joan Druett (which is fascinating and well written.)

Something happens when you drive north of North Bay. I spent a lot of time up there and it always felt like an alien world. Growing up in the big city (fine, it was Ottawa, but it felt big to me), we talked about the differences between the east and west, but the real disparity in Canada is between urban and rural.

"Was Duped Into" would probably be more correct than "Accidentally."

I haven't actually thought of Charles in years since I left Ottawa (and don't read fantasy.) But so pleased to see how well he's done for himself since I knew him back when. In fact, some of his earliest works were contributions to the fanzine put out by the Ottawa Science Fiction Society of which I was a charter

Well, that was cool. Other than a ton of Japanese films I've never seen, his Western film list is pretty damn close to mine. Nice seeing Zazie Dans Le Metro and The Thin Man being appreciated.

Hey, look at a all those white people. I love television in the 19th century. But, less seriously, I'll check it out because of Natalie Chaidez, who did good stuff on Terminator and Heroes. And, for Kirk Acevedo, who's just always awesome even if you know his character is doomed.

Lovely Katharine. I had a similar experience. I was working on a documentary, years ago, during which we were interviewing a Prof. at the University of Victoria. Somehow Trek came up and we realized we were both fans. I began to disparage Voyager and she said, "Yes, but you know what? My 12 year old daughter, who had

I have one word. Well, it's really two words stuck together. To be completely honest, it should be two words hyphenated. Now where was I? Oh right. One word: FanEdit. Expect to see a few after the Blue-ray release. The Hobbit WILL be one awesome film. Wait.

Bad news for Paramount. Good news for intelligent SF lovers.

The Muppet Shows everything is the best everything to ever everything.

Great concept. Awesome vehicle. Completely horrible SFX. Go back to the book and you've got a winner. (But, keep the Landmaster!)

It was a traumatic day for all of us in the country, but as a man, I know I can never really understand. One thing is certain: our Canadian women are AWESOME. Thank you for covering the event here.

REBOOT! It's probably wrong to admit that I had a bit of a thing for Dot Matrix. Ha ha Just kidding. Obviously. Or not. Grrrrrrrrrowl.

I also must respectfully disagree. Kidder wasn't the best actress but she had more...I hate this word...spunk, which was so integral to the character. On a side note (warning: shameless namedropping in process), I got to escort her to her seat at an awards show years ago when she was on the edge of batshit crazy. She

Am I only the only one out there who wouldn't mind a 10-year moratorium on anything about King Arthur. (And a 25 year hiatus on Robin Hood films.) Seriously, Hollywood, pick up a frikin history book or something. There are plenty of amazing, true, barely-known stories left to exploit. Honest!
