Try the one with cornflakes in, that’s the best one.

There’s enough stuff, and enough different looking stuff, that I might end up being a two-system household this time around.  (The Game Pass doesn’t hurt things, either.)

This is Squeenix. It took how many years to get the next part in the epic saga of the FF 13 extended universe that was... FF 15?

Good luck and better fortunes.

I think I had every feeling I’ve ever had, just one after the other for a couple of hours yesterday for no particular reason, like the Spotify playlist from hell.

I’ve been ogling laser cutters, mini kilns and gamemaker studio 2, dreaming of side gigs and alternate means of employment. As the song goes, I am healthy, I am whole but I have poor impulse control.

There is a Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge official cookbook out. Not the same thing as actually going to the park, but if you want to have a themed party at home in the meantime, it’s something.

‘All That You Love...’ was in Everything’s Eventual. The New Yorker had it online for a bit but it’s behind their paywall now.

I finished Hotbox recently, about the New York high-end catering industry. Food lit is a favorite genre, which feels not great in a time when restaurants are getting slammed by the pandemic, but I’m still fascinated by the intricacies of so many moving parts.

I find I dig King most when he’s away from the more fantastical elements of horror and just examining terrifying normality.

Watch Dogs 2 is so much fun. I love the protagonist and so many of the side characters, and the whole game is like a virtual tour of the most beautiful day in SF.  I think the commericals didn’t do the writing any justice - it’s really enjoyable.

Now playing

The ending of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford just kicks my heart in every time. The music is incredible too.

Good point.  Slightly less damn.

I lost a good friend last year with no warning - great guy, one of those people who just made everything a little bit better, died way too young - and he was holding out for the Steam release of this because he didn’t want to install Origin.

The spreadsheet that lets me keep track of The Backlog and also upcoming new additions to The Backlog.

I’d be annoyed with Craig Ferguson with being that talented if he wasn’t so good at it.

Glad things went well and you’re on the mend.

I once scared a very tiny snake while out for a walk. It curled itself up to look threatening while being all of about four inches long. Adorable.
