If you’re into this, you might also be into Amanita Design’s adorable little puzzler Chuchel.
Give me a story to care about and I’ll be there with bells on.
Wattam is the new game from the Katamari Damacy guy. I have hopes.
Oh man are you in for a treat.
The moral of the story is, if you only work one job (and it has relatively traditional hours), being single and in your 30s is kinda awesome. It gets boring and a little lonely on occasion, but also, I get to do whatever the fuck I want. Eat it, society.
If you’re bored, I think the Supersizers Go Victorian episode includes the baking of one of Queen Victoria’s meat pie recipes, which was the original inspiration.

Not with that narrative. Nope nuh uh no sir.
All the quiet commentary about this game being a hidden gem inspired me to finally pick it up. It’s on the backlog but I want to try and get to it before the end of the year. So hat tip to you and other commenters - it is not in vain.
Aeon Flux. Yes. What the hell was that.
Binary Domain and Remember Me were inexplicably narratively flawed. All the pieces were there, but it’s like they got right up to the edge of some really great ideas and then just... didn’t bother.
