Despite the truly awful situation those men had to endure (with cops involved and prolly suspecting a break-in, that could have been deadly, FFS), that photo and that tweet are everything.

Every time I hear/read that term I’m reminded of the scene in Downton Abbey where Bertie calls Lady Edith a “modern woman” and I have the same thought.

One of my childhood friends went to boarding school with her and said she was “one of the dumbest people I’ve ever met in my life.” That’s all I ever think of when I see news about her. She seems like she’s grown to be more competent-ISH, but I tend to believe my friend.
