I never understood the whole “immersion” argument. Games are games. I play them for entertainment. I’ve never felt “immersed” into the world of these games.

I loved FFXI 12 years when I had plenty of free time. Its a pretty archaic game now that has had to remove most of its mechanics and allow solo play due to the population being near dead and xp parties being near impossible for low level players.

Erm, they have one more expansion planned. They stated this year is the final story update and final major updates that progress the main story will end this year, but the servers are not going down any time soon.

Could be worse. I remember a few years ago something really weird happened. A random credit card (I never save any of my info on steam) got added to my account ( I saw his name and everything)while I was still logged into steam and I could actively see money being placed in my steam wallet then a bunch of purchases…

The artists got in a fair amount of trouble for copying character designs from other artists, so I’m pretty sure its unlikely we will ever see a season 2.
