I loved FFXI 12 years when I had plenty of free time. Its a pretty archaic game now that has had to remove most of its mechanics and allow solo play due to the population being near dead and xp parties being near impossible for low level players.

Erm, they have one more expansion planned. They stated this year is the final story update and final major updates that progress the main story will end this year, but the servers are not going down any time soon.

Could be worse. I remember a few years ago something really weird happened. A random credit card (I never save any of my info on steam) got added to my account ( I saw his name and everything)while I was still logged into steam and I could actively see money being placed in my steam wallet then a bunch of purchases…

The artists got in a fair amount of trouble for copying character designs from other artists, so I’m pretty sure its unlikely we will ever see a season 2.

It should be interesting. The universe for the movies is “mostly” realistic in its tone where the heroes all gained their strength from technology. Even Thor explains Asgard magic as advanced technology. I’m quite interested in how they will incorporate him into the MCU.
Dropping numbers has nothing to do with the leveling process. It has everything to do with end game getting easier and classes getting more simplified and making them all play too similarly in the name of balance for pve and pvp. And yes, the good stuff is at max level. Max level is where MMO’s maintain their player…
