I really hoped we’d see something like they did in Titanfall with AI guys running around War mode. Would definitely give it a better war like feeling rather than the usual few humans running about 360 no scoping folk.

DK, pipe frame, leaf wheels and the cloud glider have served me pretty well although I occasionally jump into the Biddybuggy or the Landship. I also have a soft spot for Shy Guy but he gets battered about like a pinball.
ARMS, lots n lots of ARMS. Probably Mario Kart as well. My mates having a party so by request, the Switch is coming along for the trip. It’ll be a living, breathing Switch commercial.
Got my copy in Glasgow today! Rally enjoyed the test punch and looking forward to playing at the weekend with my mates.

The biggest difference between Nintendo’s announcements and the others was that I genuinely smiled whilst watching some of the videos. Yoshi looks delightful, Mario looks a bit bonkers and although we’d seen it from Ubi before I like what I’m seeing of Mario+Rabbids.
I’m another one, my Switch has gone with me everywhere in the last few weeks and been used in a mix of tabletop and TV at my mates cos it’s just so easy to pack up. BBQ happening somewhere? Sit outside and enjoy some of the lovely Scottish weather we’ve had and still play Mario Kart!
Must resist buying Minecraft for the 4th time....
I admit I haven’t played tons of online yet but ive played enough and I’ve not experienced any disconnections at any point even on free public WiFi spots. We did have one person who seemed impervious to damage last night but overall it’s been stable from my time online on the UK and the last few days when I was in…
We’ve now got the blast horn thing - I dunno what it’s actually called and can’t be bothered googling it. There’s nothing more satisfying than sitting first, seeing that blue shell warning and grabbing a box that gives you one just in time, then using it to stop the blue shell dead in its tracks. I pulled it off…
Lots and lots of Mario Kart on Switch. Currently smashing out co-op portable mode. Having got rid of my Wii U before it came out I’d forgotten how awesome it is. Be lots more whilst I watch the old firm (Scottish football) with the lads tomorrow. For anyone in the UK looking to pick up extra controllers get I to Argos…
Yeah sorry should have said I have a regular grey Switch as the neon variant has been virtually impossible to get a hold of anywhere near me and I was too impatient to wait. I’ll definitely be grabbing some of these when they appear no matter how poor it makes me ha!
Yeah they’re really expensive in the UK as well. I was gonna pick up the regular neon colours with Mario Kart at the end of the month but I might need to hold off til these appear. At least they won’t go missing down the side of the couch!
This is what they actually look like, no Photoshop at all. Kinda makes me hope for more colours in future but damn they’re expensive. Didn’t see a release date, but I’ll assume they’re launching with Arms as they were a part of the same headline.
I actually quite like the look of them, but I am a sucker for anything yellow coloured. I’d probably say it’s nearer to the yellow of a high-vis vest.
It’s pulled through my world from iOS but I need to buy it again if I want to play single player beyond 1-3. I had hoped it would link the purchase to the Nintendo account and let me play on Android but unfortunately not. Never mind, I can rally to my heart’s content if I’m really that bothered about playing again as…
What really gets me is that the guy who plays Liam is actually English but his accent is horrid. It reminds me of Charlie Hunnans attempt at cockney in Green Street. Maybe it’s just that the rest of the cast are American but I’d be happy to see him die soon so I don’t have to suffer it any longer.
Yup, but this William has a thick Irish accent. I don’t mind though, they took a lot of liberties but the game’s still great. Was speaking to a colleague at work about Nioh earlier today and it’s basically a playable version of the TV show Shogun from the 80's which also happened to follow William Adams.
It’s definitely more like NG than DS the more of it I play. The combat stances and possible combo attacks have considerably more depth but it can boil down to attack spamming more than Souls does. I do however love finding a new combo and low stance unleashes some beasts when you experiment a bit. Aggression often…
Thankfully I’ve been off this week and put Stardew on hold while I get into Nioh. So far, so good. Easy to pick up, hard to put down and just the right amount of challenge at the moment. On a side note I’ve also got Resi 7 to try in VR but it’s a day time game as I expect to be making lots of loud noises and upsetting…
