Alow me to provide you a comprehensive list of all the times allowing “good-natured ribbing” did *not* degenerate into “toxic hate speech” in an internet game between anonymous opponents:
Exactly. The Demogorgon and Mind Flayer from previous seasons bear little resemblance to the two-headed demon and squid-headed race from D&D.
So, yet another Simpsons episode becomes reality.
I agree on that, but the hobbyists don’t. If you're not devoting 30-60 minutes to cooking everyday, or at least doing multi-hour bulk cooking weekly, it's not *real* cooking.
Particularly ironic given that this site is "The Takeout", but it morphed into a cooking website at some point. And cooking websites always attract snobs, because cooking is now a hobby but it's practitioners want to pretend it's still a general life skill. It's like if tailors tried to shame everyone who doesn't…
Maybe, but torching $1 billion per year until that lightning strikes doesn't seem like a good approach.
Yes, but can we forgive the show for making us all aware of Andy Dick?
McD is *massively* cheaper if you get the deals on their app - $1 large fries or coffee, BOGO $.29 Big Macs, $5 20-piece McNuggets. I don't know if it's a loss leader or if tracking my purchase history is just that valuable.
They don’t want to be the best - they want to win. An attitude I am *wholly* in agreement with - that’s why I play PvE games.
As someone who's always been adamantly "meh" on steak, I like eating at Outback.
I remember my mother loving Chi Chi’s because they were $1-2 more per plate than comparable places...and she was *happy* to pay extra for a half-full restaurant over a packed restaurant.
In the grand scheme of things it wasn't *super* hot, but it was way hotter than anything else I've had at Taco Bell save the (not particularly tasty) Diablo Sauce.
Let’s face it, any character creator that let you make Birdie would also enable a universe of terrifying abominations.
Yeah, I'd happily pay too much for a 12-pack with 4 of each flavor for the novelty. Not gonna play at being an influencer for it, though.
The 2005 movie didn’t have him romantically involved with anyone. In the spirit of that film doing things well but straying far from the comic, I vote they make this Constantine asexual.
Yeah, I liked the movie, but my primary reaction was "why did they pop for the license"? I'd rather have an entertaining and unfaithful adaptation than the opposite, but man did that movie wander away from the source material.
It always amazes me how many peoples' enjoyment of a game is predicated on other people *not* being able to enjoy the game.
Between Mike and Shamus Young a few weeks ago...this fortysomething male is feeling particularly mortal.
As a Wisconsinite, I will always cheer for Culver’s. But I was blown away when the Doughboys podcast came out and said they’d replace every In N Out with a Culver’s if they could.
