At one point it was $199/month with 0 down. That’s a steal.

He got (another) big payday from Tesla. Of course, if he keeps acting they way he is, the stock price is going to keep dropping and the big payday will be, well, a less-big payday.

And he’s funding a guy campaigning to kill electric cars if he wins. It’s a shame Tesla’s board isn’t independent and so isn’t able to crack down a guy damaging the company.

BZ4X deals on leasehackr were nothing short of amazing. Some under $100/month.

He’s alienating progressives, who are most likely to buy an EV, and cozying up with conservatives, who are least likely to buy an EV. That doesn’t really bode well when you’re the CEO of a company that only makes EVs.

Did you read the article, though? Tesla’s actual sales numbers are going down while those of most of other EV manufacturers are going up. It’s not a case of “a smaller piece of a bigger pie,” it’s just less, period.

Everyone knew that Tesla’s sales were predicated on three things:

It could be a brilliant strategy if it weren’t for the folks impressed by his BS also being the least likely to buy an EV because of the culture wars...

But it seems to have to be said over and over because the Tesla stans continue to deny it.

we bought one... we arent toyota people, but with the closeouts and toyota trying to dump them, it was absolutely the cheapest new EV we could get our hands on... and for that it was worth it.

I wonder why this is a problem that bELONgs only to Tesla. Weird.

Making your face the brand identity, and then making “scumbag” your brand, really working out well for Elon and Tesla. Totally worth those billions.

I see this as an absolute win.

And in actual use, it worked once. Did you not read the article and/or watched the video?

No worries, I’m sure it only costs $2,000 to fix... after waiting 6 months for the parts.

Yet another problem my $20k bolt doesn’t have.

Mission accomplished.

Oh, great, the release cable can only be expected to work once. As if you have a problem with the cable/plug, it will only happen once.

From the diagram it looks to me as though there is a channel in the wheel and the resonators are clipped in. I don’t think c-force helps hold them in. I guess it’s possible that c-force helps them dynamically tune to the canceling frequency though? Maybe they flex?

I had no idea they made so little.  That’s gotta be close to poverty levels in big metro areas (where airports exist).  Are there perks I’m not aware of, like all family member fly free (making vacations cheaper), or overtime?  Otherwise, who lives on $28K/yr?
