I really wonder about Alfas. I think the majority of the stories are from older ones like you had that had been run hard and put away wet.

You say what the rest of us are sarcastically thinking.
I was going to comment this too. Yeah, you CAN buy one of the best modern sport sedans for that price. But it’s not a Hyundai, it’s an Alfa.
Yeah, but the same money could also get you into one of these that drives even better and has a TON of history and racing pedigree instead...
I can’t hear you above all the laughing
I cant imagine why anyone uses lane assistance. But yes, if you had the 3.3T that would address the gutlessness but the rest of the car being a skinned hyundai is definitely a take, since its generally regarded as pretty damn good. I get some people dont like the genesis design language but the materials and…
Also you get that bullet proof Italian reliability that Alfa Romeo is famous for.
Yeah, I drove one round-trip from DFW to Texarkana. I wasn’t hugely impressed, but again... rental-spec
I love me a good sports sedan, but I don’t get these. I got a NEW G70 as a rental in Colorado last fall. I drove that thing from Denver to Estes Park, then to Ridgeway (near Telluride) and then back to Denver. We knew each other very well. My nephew purchased a new WRX in NC two years ago. They severely overfilled the oil on first complementary oil change. It was so full that after a few hundred miles oil was everywhere in the engine bay and smoking like you’d imagine.
The dealership really couldn’t afford a cheap stick shift shop car to teach their people on? What a bunch of scumbags.
> Which I don’t know why they’re still messing with a CVT.
The hybrid apparently only weights 50 lbs more than the regular version, so my guess is that the CVT transmission in the hybrid is to blame (the non-hybrid gets an 8 speed).
The Maverick USED to be standard as a Hybrid, now it’s the option powertrain and you have to pay more. Still a great value but the turbo motor is now standard.
“CR paid $175 more for a gas-only NX350 than it did for a comparable NX350h, so the savings could be instant.”
I watched the H3 content court episode about Adin Ross and he comes across as the kind of people who doesn’t have real friends, just people he associates with and find useful.
