Doh! You beat me to it!

Another great one to watch is @redspade.

The stock gel seat isn’t that bad. Considering this with the addition of a sheepskin. Huntington Beach to Golden Gate Park, then through Sacramento and Lake Tahoe, finish down the 395. 1088 miles just using I-5 to San Fran, or up the coast first for 1142 total. Google says just over 20 hours, but I think it would be a

So, didn’t suede steering wheels start out in racing for the extra grip that it provides? And these were expected to be replaced as needed... Same for seats, it keeps the driver from sliding around in the seat. But again, replaced fairly frequently... So, because racecar, make it a premium “sport” option!

Notice in the first picture how all the bikes just fill up the street? Allow more lane splitting and sharing, and there will be more riders (once people adjust to being able to do so safely.) Being able to be at the front of a light here in SoCal makes it much safer between lights. Being able to get through gridlock

But a motorcycle. And then take it to a nice curvy track. Or the Tail of the Dragon (NC), GMR/Malibu (SoCal), Mt Rainier (WA), etc. ;)

As far as I know, yes, you are liable for damages to the course, i.e. damaged barriers and such. I’ll point a friend who was an instructor there to this article for more info.

And to top it all off, he was hauled off wearing a NASA t-shirt. And now, he won’t ever bring another invention to school. This kid would rock at a science fair, but has already been beaten down by the very system that’s supposed to lift him up.

I had a similar experience, but with a much less exciting vehicle... When the transmission on the wife’s 2003 Mini Cooper (the CVT auto) started behaving badly (again - two prior replacement transmissions), we started looking at the Fiat 500e. While in the showroom, and finalizing what they’d give us for trade in,

In the case of “The Man From U.N.C.L.E.” they were dealing with attracting an entirely new audience, many of whom had barely even heard of the original TV series. So it’s less of a reboot, and more of a new thing. In this case, it wasn’t so much of an “origin story” as a story in it’s own right. The target audience of

He’s also been caught hunting illegally before. In 2006 he killed a black bear outside his permit area, and covered it up for a couple years. Guess what? A minor fine and 1 year probation.

Edgar Rice Burroughs.

Robert Anson Heinlein

A banana? Really?

As with all situations of this type, if the car behind you is following closely enough that they can’t react and slow/stop when you do, they are following too closely. If you decide to hit the cat, that is your choice. If the guy behind you can’t stop if you have to, then he needs to back off some more, or he’s going

I’m still amazed that EditPad Pro never gets a mention (or it’s free sibling, EditPad Lite)...

That’s a pleasant side effect. Another pleasant side effect is that filtering at lights reduces overall congestion for all.

Lane splitting is primarily a maneuver to a) avoid being rear ended in slower traffic, b) continue rolling so the bike maintains active balance, and c) maintain airflow over the rider to avoid overheating. It gets really hot sitting in the sun on tarmac in full gear.
