The weird thing is that Telelever is better for road bikes, and telescopic forks are better for off-road bikes!

yeah - Paralever is the rear system based on the Parallelagramo system designed by Arturo Magni for Moto Guzzis in the ‘70s.

Just to note that the ‘too-tall’ windscreen is only on the later models, and the roofline was raised only because of objections from Americans saying that the cabin didn’t have enough room in it.
Similarly the bumpers grew on later models due to US safety regs. (happened to lots of cars at that time: UK car builders…
One thing that always confuses me slightly is that a lot of car people are willing to spend thousands of dollars on the vehicle, but no money whatsoever on taking said vehicle to a proper place to race/drift/whatever with it, along with like-minded others.
