There’s two ways to ride with a pillion. The easy way, and the stupid way.

What’s seriously scary about the big Bentleys is how well they handle. I chased one down a set of twisty roads some years ago and struggled to stay with it in, and pulling out of, the corners. I was in a 2nd gen Nissan QX, ok, that’s not a sports car, but it’s 50 years “more advanced” than the Bentley was....
Has to be said, a Rotary makes a very good range-extender power source. If it’s fixed to a very narrow rev-range for optimal output it can be reasonably fuel-efficient while not having to provide efficiency at other engine speed.
This is why turbine engines are often used for electricity generation - you can make them…
Those rear seats do NOT fold “flat”.
What no mention of the “nod” ?
Hydrogen is relatively expensive to manufacture; extremely dangerous if mis-handled; requires extremely safe gas-tanks in the vehicle to prevent accident damage (think scuba-type tanks on massive amounts of steroids), which are also heavier than a regular tank for storing liquid fuel.
Same, I have Packtalk Bolds with my partner (as do both my brothers). There’s very little point in upgrading until there’s a step-change in quality or something else.

There’s a town in the UK, Crawley I think, where they have something similar, but without (I believe) the self-centreing ability. It’s more like dedicated bus-lanes with concrete dividing barriers (to prevent other traffic using the lanes).
Anything that takes the driver’s attention away from the business of driving.

I’ve always been impressed by the intelligence of using flying boats for aerial fire-fighting. Watching them fill with thousands and thousands of gallons in a matter of minutes simply by fast-cruising along on the surface of a lake is so impressive. It means their time to target is reduced by hours in comparison with…
The Grumman Goose, and PBY Catalina kinda disprove that argument - they’re true amphibians. They’ve both got a boat type hull (not floats), AND wheeled undercarriage, so they’re able to operate from both land and sea, but they’re both definitely “flying boats”.
radials and cross-plies do NOT belong on the same axle....
Only a couple of them (all the budget could take).
