You’re right that they’re not just re-painted, they’re a specific case made by Swatch in Swatch’s own Bioceramic material to the same outer shape as Omega’s. The rest of the design elements also won’t be Omega parts made by Omega artisans in Omega production lines: they’ll be Swatch parts made to look like Omega…

It would have put the watch outside of Swatch’s ‘simple, but good’ parameters.

They’ll be available online eventually - from what I’ve read elsewhere they’re not a limited edition so will be available from Swatch on a permanent basis even after the hype has died down.

Indeed - it sounds a bit cheap to say it - but in every vehicle, every manouevre should be assessed with the view to ending up in a safe place at the end, WHATEVER happens.

What the hell is the POINT of holding a phone like this, UNLESS you’re broadcasting the other side of the conversation for everyone else in the building to hear? If you’re having a private conversation, the small speaker can  generates exactly the right amount of volume for you, and you alone, to hear the other side…

Nothing much ‘christmassy’ about the plot (well - a bit of existential ‘suicidal depressive realises he does have a place in society’ - kinda like It’s a Wonderful Life) : but it does take place at the right time.
