Whatever you get, do NOT buy new.

The VW Beetle I had for about 2 weeks. What a POS.
Yes - the airheads had that - but they stopped being made around 30 years ago. Modern bikes with fuel pumps rarely have a crossover pipe (some do, some don’t*) to balance the fuel level in the two halves of the tank, and the ‘reserve’ is not controlled by a tap, but simply by a warning light or level indicator (often…
On older bikes without internal pumps, maybe (but you’re going back over 30 years for that now on a large capacity modern bike).
Mine are mostly for motorcycles....
The idea of a removable 7" tablet is an interesting one.
Worst car I ever owned.
Yup - exactly what I was going to suggest. (including the Ronin reference).

the ‘egg’ shape is aerodynamically more efficient, which makes a big difference when you have limited energy available for moving. Check out all the other solar powered vehicles, the aerodynamics used make race-cars look like house-bricks.
Depends where you are - if you’re ‘travelling’ within Europe, that 80 miles range gets you from 1 campsite to a choice of at least 20 others.
No-one else here ever played Elite?
At least add in the link.... https://baevantare.co.uk/
The issue is not when these cars are new, and driven in daylight, but when they are older, the taillights have failed and the car is driven at night or in the fog.
Nice to see Jalopnik accommodate more than just a US view. :)
The alternative is to go for a lower screen that keeps the buffeting at ‘upper-chest’ level, and keeps your head in the relatively smooth airflow above the buffeting zone.
Yay, another archer! :D
One word: Motocompo!
The FIAT 500 has that cubby hole too.
I’m guessing it involves a lot of ‘direct action’....
