Free Japanese manufacturer spec socket, what’s the downside?

Just gone through this and setup my Android device which connects and accesses the internet fine via the VPN - however - I’m not sure how to set this up on my Ubuntu 16.04 laptop. Any chance of updating the tutorial with instructions for Linux clients? (or do you assume we already know how to do this. ;) )

Dave Taylor had to do the same thing (drive the front wheel). The gyroscopic effect of the front wheel spinning helps to keep the bike stable when it’s hoisted up.
