Easy way to do all 6 of those things in 1 is simply to ride a motorcycle. ;)

Best printer I ever had was an Oki 4W b&w laser. Obviously that’s something like 15 years ago, but I’d have a modern version instantly if I needed a printer. Never broke down, always connected, nice and fast, very compact (it’s footprint was smaller than a piece of A4 paper). Inkjets of the time were simply a waster

The way I see it, they both lose out to a notebook that incorporates some method of holding a writing implement. I used to love the little diaries that had a very narrow pencil that lived in the spine. No use having a notebook in your pocket if your pen has disappeared through the tiny hole in the stitching....

My first and favourite car.

Rest of the world says: “damn, can’t believe how insanely huge ‘Murican cars are!”

BMW F650GS? (the 2000-ish twin spark single cylinder).

I may look into this - I commute every day, whatever the weather, but have always found a decent polish of the visor every day fixes it (unless it’s a gentle drizzle that doesn’t put enough moisture on the visor to bead up).

As I said on the forum where I first saw this - I’ve no sympathy: the rider accelerates hard directly into bright sunlight and then seems surprised that he can’t see anything - duh.

Yeah - you need to get some training because it is ‘different’. But then everyone needs to learn to drive, and then learn to ride - so it wouldn’t be an issue if they were more common.

I always was tempted to put a F650GS engine in one of them... again - they handle ok, just a bit top-heavy.

Why would it lose grip any earlier than a regular bike? From what I’ve read/watched - they’ve got BETTER handling and grip than msot normal bikes.

I always think it’s a major shame that BMW never ‘sponsored’ or ‘supported’ the Peraves Ecomobile & Monotracer enclosed motorcyle designs.

My first car (first bought) was a E21 316. 1.8litre engine with a carb, smooth-as-silk il4, and manual rear-wheel drive.

uuurgh.... seasick now.....

Dead end - road that goes no-where - could be a short road with houses, could be an exit that actually just ends in a fence 5 yards off the roundabout.

I think it depends on who you’re working with, designer wise. I have to use Photoshop and Illustrator all the time because the designers I work with aren’t web-designers and don’t understand (despite my best efforts) about web-safe font usage, hovers, active states, buttons, icons, etc etc.

Perfect timing! have just moved to a new build house and need a new bin - preferably something that a lurcher (dog) can’t knock over and truffle in though!

ANY bike is better than none.
