SO agree. It also drives me nuts when people talk about toxins being in things. It’s never anything specific, just “toxins”. Even water can be toxic in large enough quantities; claiming some undefined toxins are in X means nothing to me. Now, tell me there’s lead in the water or something, and then we’re talking about

Totally agree. I also hate that the only place you can really search around is on their website. They make finding things so painful on any of the interfaces (roku, android tv, xbox, ps4, etc.) that it’s not worth it most of the time. Yeah, they finally give us categories, that’s nice, but why can’t we drill down to

Ah, that was around the time I got my first pc (that was for my use). I was a teenager at the time. Didn’t they restart the version numbering when they went to the “CS” they used for so long before the current subscription model?

Wow, how far back was that? I’ve been using it since version 3 (I think) and it’s had those features as long as I’ve been using it.

For what it’s worth, this can vary by phone a lot... on mine, (S6) it’s under Accessibility > Vision > Text to speech. Also, there’s no option to try a sample.

The LP Authenticator app also does this. It’s particularly nice since I’m extra nerdy and have a smartwatch so I can hit the approve notification from my wrist.

Looks like only three of the 2fa options are premium only, there are still a ton of other ones!

You still have to authenticate to get into the app in your phone or laptop, so it really shouldn’t be a problem so long as you don’t use the same credentials to log into the device as you do for lastpass. Plus, if you use 2FA, you can remove a device from the trusted list and then the potential thief would need to

I’ll just check the logs on my UPS.

I’m curious... why?

I think there’s definitely a line that a lot of people don’t get - you can be an introvert and NOT shy. Personally, although I work in IT I still work extensively in teams and with other people with a lot of interpersonal interactions and even lead meetings often. Public speaking is something that I haven’t had

This kind of makes me wonder about herd/mob mentality. Are extroverts more likely to get swept up in the emotion of a crowd or go along with whatever is going on than introverts? (I honestly don’t know). I’ve been to sporting events where you can almost literally feel the energy of the crowd and though I find it

Every version of Office since ‘95.

Heh, I work for a telecom company and they make us do this mandatory security training every year. My coworkers and I always get a kick from the “hackers” they show in the training video/pictures. Always a guy that’s wearing a hoodie indoors in a dark room with sunglasses and gloves.

Obviously, internet company executives that like collecting them as trophies as the warlords of old collected ears (according to that one movie I saw one time).

If he’s like 90% of america, he already sold it to help pay for his slow, capped internet connection.

No thanks. Unless things have changed a lot, I’ll be passing. After the trailers I got excited about an open world game where the world is hackable and you can hack around the city to achieve your goals. Instead, I got GTA with a very minor hacking component that felt tacked on at times and there were just too many

Wow. In my area, only a very small subset of movie theaters actually have assigned seating. The ones that do either have those ridiculous dbox seats (seats that move during the movie if you haven’t seen them) or they’re the kind that serves food during the movie.

In that case... I know your pain well. :(

Not quite right - the oldest millennials are hitting their mid-thirties now, but otherwise I agree. The milk carton kids, along with he media fear-mongering that started in the late 90's and into the early 00's is what fed this. Especially since reality doesn’t really match expectations. Namely that there are kids
