Even with the rear plastic window in this state, it’s still easier to see out of than the current generation.

Yes indeed, COTD
I am betting the NPS took a sizable sum of money in for this little stunt.
I’m a little i’m a little disappointed in Matt. I know he’s getting older, we all are, but I feel like he wouldn’t have done the same video five years ago. His review of the Fiesta ST was the reason I got mine, and I daily mine in LA and love every minute of it. I don’t want to be driving around in a lay Z boy…
I love to drive, but I recently got an electric assist mountain bike to commute in LA. Couldn’t be happier. At certain times of day it’s faster than driving, I have the power and speed to take up my own lane and no one bitches, I get some exercise. Or if I don’t want exercise, I can let the bike to do the work.…
Beat me to it.
So you’re saying you would RUN from this DMC?
Sure, but replace the five cups of water in the 660,000 gallon Olympic-size swimming pool with the same amount of pee-pee, I’m out.
The Fit is a great car, preferable to a regular Fiesta maybe. But the FiST is an entirely different animal.
Us Americans apparently have short memories. If anyone really thinks gas will not be going up again, I think they’re crazy.
My dealer was trying to get me into a Focus ST for the same price, but many enthusiasts - and automotive journalists - would argue that the FiST is just more enjoyable car. If you absolutely need the space, I get it. But for me there was no question, even for the same price.
II think Motor Trend got it down to 6.4 0-60 but like the others say, you’ll enjoy the speed and be very competitive once you get above 30 mph or so.
From what I remember, wheel and caliper color, sunroof, navigation package, and some premium body colors were all options.
Hard to fault the Recaros for this! ;-)
Also a SoCal commuter, I agree – a complete weapon in traffic. Closest thing to a motorcycle I could hope for. :-)
Nope. The regular Fiesta with the automatic transmission and the oldtouchscreen interface is the one with the problems. Zero issues for me after my two years of ownership.
I can agree with this. Asshole drivers are usually paying attention to driving at least. Dumbass, distracted drivers on their phones are becoming a much bigger problem.
My friend visiting from NY summed it up best: “So many cars, so few people honking.”
I commute in LA every day, in my opinion it’s still more fun to have a manual.
Yep. $800 for my crappy navigation that I had to get if I wanted the Recaros.
