That’s a really good point. The Switch is kind of the first home console in a while that seems designed with the Japanese market in mind.

It’s not in the official stats, but the fact that the Switch has already matched about 75% (super loose estimate) of the Playstation 4's lifetime sales in Japan is kind of extraordinary. Within a couple years, the Switch is undoubtedly going to be the default current generation home console over there.

It’s strange because in Japanese the Nopon say “mophu” after everything and it fits their soft/fluffy appearance. Saying “meh” after everything just sounds like they’re completely apathetic all the time.

Depending on the controller, some games do have drivers for the older devices. For instance I have a Qanba I customized from my 360/PS3, and Injustice 2 includes a driver that supports it on PS4.

I use brook converters and there isn’t any delay I notice. A big FGC streamer maximilian dood put me on them and the only down side is you need different versions for each console

Brook makes USB adapters that may work for you. There’s no discernable lag or frame loss when using one.
