Will this join Pharaoh and Banished on the list of games I would melt down and inject into my body if it were possible?

I feel guilty over the house my partner and I own, because we’re both taking an extended break from the game (I haven’t been able to move my PC to my new place and he’s burned out) but we’ll pop on to make sure we don’t lose it. And we will come back to it and we love our house, but there’s people out there actively…
Odyssey is my go-to ‘just a quick sesh’ game. Looking at my Switch ‘hours played’ list it’s actually very low compared to Zelda and Xenoblade - 100+ in each of those and maybe 20 or so on Mario. I can’t actually sit for hours and play it otherwise I get a bit bored. And yet, for a quick half hour or so it’s so…
Reigns is so gooood. Kinda hit a wall though so taking a little break. These are the kind of games that really suit being on a phone and prove that there’s good shit out there buried under all the clash clones.
I’m not too surprised because they LOVE their handhelds over there. A home console/portable hybrid is attractive to everyone but I genuinely believe the system was largely designed in response to the state of the Japanese gaming market. And even if that isn’t the case, it’s still taking huge advantage of it.
‘To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Shadow of the Colossus.’
I was scrolling and saw ‘Bully’ and instantly thought OH MY GOD BULLY 2 IS HAPPENING. I am now sad.
Legacy is the only way I play Sims now, though usually I get super-hooked for a week or so and then never touch that family again, not play the game for a year and then do it all over again.
I like the English dub quite a lot (especially Nia and the Welsh cat people, I could never trade those in for the Japanese dub) but oh god I wish I could just set Tora to Japanese.
It doesn’t really change I’m afraid. I kinda got used to it for a while (lvl 60ish, 80 hours) but now I’m doing a lot of salvaging and the long ass battles with the monsters that pop up sometimes is starting to wear me out again.
I have and love both and have a similar taste. I would recommend PS4 for you first simply because it has a much bigger library right now and you’ll be able to get lots of those games dirt cheap whilst Switch games are pricy. Right now the only exclusive JRPG on Switch is XC2 and whilst I am enjoying it, Persona 5 is…
The feeling when you press the button on your first build and it actually works is one of the best experiences ever.
I’ve liked a fair few AC characters but Bayek is the first one I’m genuinely in love with. Fantastic voice acting too.
Kiwami is my first Yakuza and I plan to get 0 soon, but damn I adore Majima and Kiryu so much! I can’t believe I’m so late to this series.
I loved Andromeda, and I know what you mean about that ‘Bioware buzz’. Unfortunately, as well as all the problems it had it released in a vintage year for games so it had no chance really. I was really looking forward to the DLC :(
There’s a game that’s just come out on the switch (I forgot the name but you’ll know it when you see it) that is meant to be a love letter to A Link to the Past. Maybe you should check it out if you haven’t already, I’ve heard nothing but pleasant things about it.
I’ve never watched/played/whatever anything Psycho Pass before, is this game a good starting point or do I need to start with something else?
I feel like they look at their ‘failures’ and learn from them so that whatever they put out next hits the right note. Gamecube (which I adored don’t get me wrong) was just another console with nothing special, so next gen they did something completely different to the predictable PS3 and 360, and completely dominated…
I do love my PS4 Pro, bought it this time last year as my first console in ages and have enjoyed my time with it and the games, but I knew pretty much what I was getting when I bought one - basically a weaker, limited PC albeit with some great exclusives coming up.
Does anyone here have any experience in using a controller converter for a fight stick? I have a stick I love for 360 and don’t really want to shell out for another one on PS4 but I can get a 360>PS4 USB thing for £30 or so. If it noticeably affects input delay I won’t bother but I’d just thought to ask for opinions.
