Compared to Amazon, Disney, and MGM, Netflix is small. And if they fail, we’re going to end up with one of the modern style monopolies. Two huge companies and a third slightly less huge company that all work together to gouge as much as they can while providing as little as possible. 

It’s also symptomatic of Democratic voters to push really hard in the Presidential election years and place a lot of weight on the President, but ignore the part of the government that actually makes the laws.

I’m still hanging on to Netflix, because they were the ones who started it all, and because I want to support another option besides the behemoth media conglomerations. But they are making it harder. Tell the algorithm that it needs to put a little more weight on keeping subscribers than getting new ones.
