I wouldn’t say either one is superior. They fill slightly different niches - to some, a spinner will be superior to a cube due to what they look for in a “fidgeter” or distraction element. To others, it’s the opposite.

I like GBoard quite a bit, although I did ditch it recently because it would consistently take over ten seconds to load the keyboard in comparison to the stock keyboard’s nearly instant loading. I already use Telegram for this, although admittedly not too often and not with sensitive data, so it works well for that purpose. Especially since you don’t need a workaround, Telegram tells you straight-up that messaging yourself is an ideal place to store forwarded messages and file attachments.

For me, it was because Chrome was a bigger resource hog and it loaded webpages slower than Firefox as a whole.
