Agreed. I enjoyed it more than Marvel Studios ones.

Well, my memories of the show (and movie) are pretty hazy, but as far as I can recall, he was inoffensive. Maybe not as rad as Zack, whose fighting style mixed combat with dance. Still, not the worst replacement. He was better than that wuss Billy, at least.
The black ranger doesn't have to be black. The original second black ranger was Johnny Yong Bosch, who had a Korean background. As a kid, my favourite was Zack, but his replacement was pretty cool too.
Homer had bloodshot eyes several times before this episode, usually because he was tired from lack of sleep. In "The Springfield Connection", he has them when he eats scrambled eggs after adding Marge's pepper spray to them.
The story of how they got together was my favourite part of "Life Itself". I especially liked how she mentioned that he was 50 when they got married and said something like, "I had to wait almost my whole life to find you, and I'm glad I did."
Yeah, I thought a lot of casual X-Men fans (due to the '90s cartoon) loved Gambit. When I told one that there were X-Men movies, her first question was, "Have they introduced Gambit and Beast yet?" Those two were really charming on the animated show.
Let her go, let her go….another quaalude, she gonna love me again.
I love that moment on "The Simpsons" where Maggie opens a present, immediately discards the toy elephant inside, and proceeds to enjoy popping the bubble wrap that was covering it.
And that's a bad thing? This is what I enjoy most about the costume.
I just wish they'd let Jane Adams record her own full version of that "Happiness" song, instead of only letting R.E.M play it over the closing credits. It's too bad she got interrupted by a phone call while performing it in the movie. I wanted more, dammit! A reprise by her over the closing credits would have been…
That's what I remember him from. One of my favourite over-the-top performances. He spends much of that movie bug-eyed, enraged, and hilarious. Despite the fact that his character was so wacky, I actually felt sympathy and affection for him at the end. The performance was unexpectedly poignant, despite being so simple…
I generally agree with your thinking here, but object to what you're implying about season 2 of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" with that statement.
We seem to have similar taste when it comes to Star Trek shows. I tried all the shows and Voyager was the only one that never worked for me. I felt like it didn't bring anything novel to the table, unlike the others.
I really disliked DS9's first season and much of the second. I didn't think it got consistent until season 3 and for me, season 4 (Worf's first) was when the show really took off. I understand quitting during season 1. I suggest giving 3 and 4 a shot before giving up completely. I still like TNG more, but DS9 did some…
I noticed him playing the announcer too. I like how he goes over-the-top when doing stuff like that. Must be so much fun for him.
Yeah, I thought of that as a nice inside joke for people who have followed Louie's stand-up for a long time.
I was thinking the same thing. Actually, it was a little disappointing to me that he didn't pay off the story on his show the way he did when telling it on "Opie & Anthony".
I would have liked that post more if "you are failing" had been typed as "YOU ARE FAILING!" so it could be a reference to my favourite line (and line delivery) in "Captain America: The First Avenger". It's always amusing to see that a user upvoted their own post. Thanks for making me smile with that.
Almost, not quite. I watched it constantly as a teen. More recently, I only check it out occasionally. Over the past few years, I've found that reading what people write about it or say on podcasts can be more entertaining than actually watching the product. It just brings so much enthusiasm out of people and inspires…
Haha, nice touch adding that you "figuratively" can't wait. I think that expression is overused and try to not to say the words unless I mean them literally. For example, I considered complimenting your post tomorrow, then decided I can't wait and posted this reply.
