Last year, I watched "Pretty Maids All in A Row" for the first time. It was written and produced by Gene Rodenberry. Entertaining, but rather sleazy being about a gym teacher who likes to nail his students. I think the fact that he wrote this thing gives you some insight into his libidinous nature.

Yes, at first Dini just thought it would be novel to have a 'henchgirl' with the Joker's thugs, but her personality was inspired by Sorkin. Taking the character out of that original animated context is always going to be forced and awkward to me.

I just like how live action Batman resembles Lego Batman in that shot of him with the armour and lit-up eyes. It's cute.

I'm glad you mentioned the "Model" episode. I was disappointed in most of season 4, but that was my favourite episode of the series so far. I thought it was mostly downhill after that.
