Here's the thing: If their characters are sitting in vigil at a location, or getting together to do something completely unrelated to the game (like standing in formation to spell out a name) then they're very specifically NOT "playing".

Well, that failed - you do appear heartless. Also this site is about playing games, so you appears clueless as well.

Judging people on grammar and spelling is really rude and ableist and racist. He is literally talking about shitty schools and you feel the need to....what? Take this talented, successful man down a peg or two? Is is jealousy? Self hatred being reflected out? What specifically are you hoping we infer? What

You could say the same thing about a funeral in real life though. All ways of mourning are somewhat silly if you view them through the lens of pure logic. Every time I go to funerals I find myself thinking "This is awkward. No one is here to make anyone feel better except themselves".

Well I'm sure they'd fly to him if they were rich but they aren't. These are people he played with and he obviously has a place in their lives for this to happen. Just because you're tethered by a computer doesn't mean your mind and heart doesn't travel further.

What's your point? the emotions are real

I like that this has been updated as far as internet devices are concerned.

I think they'd be more bothered about an American Bond than a black Bond, at least here in the UK they would ...

Thanks for the correction! I believe we are on the same page that both Elba and Bond are more British than WASP.

Umm, James Bond is British, which means he's not a WASP (a term coined to denote Americans with English Protestant Ancestry). He's white because Ian Fleming was white and in a closed racist white environment. And if I remember correctly, it wasn't until very late in the novels that Bond's ancestry was even brought

Yeah, it's like how she announced that Dumbledore was gay after the books came out and that's great but why couldn't she have written it into the books

Being a bi woman does not entitle her to saying a slur about gay men. That doesn't even make sense.

You're absolutely right. When 212 came out, I was excited for Azealia because she was getting recognition not just in the states but in places outside the U.S. as well. I had hoped she would be on the same level as Nicki Minaj. But then she started beefing with everyone on Twitter and showing how ignorant she is.

Truth. And even in real life, tons of people who aren't Christian celebrate with trees and presents. My family is Pagan. We still have a tree and presents. Why? Because it's fun! It's a good time to get together with the family and have a break.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming JKR. There's a time to be idealistic and then there's a time to be realistic about the kind of world we live in. I just feel that by the latter half of the series (which was growing darker, and more adult) JKR could already afford to be idealistic. At the very least gay

I feel like this is a cop-out. I mean, you could say the same thing about Middle Earth. "Oh, sure. There were tons of LGBT characters. You just never see them!"

That is a super tragic story, and (as I said in my post) the heroism of the Poles in WWII is often an unsung story, and it shouldn't be. I just think Alan Turing has a particular resonance because his ultimate fate wasn't a function of war (and there were a lot of people that were killed or captured because of the

I find it really, REALLY hard to believe that you've watched Buffy, unless you're talking serious hyperbole here. It has some of the best character writing on television, Whedon dialog quirks aside.

I think it holds up extremely well, provided you can ignore the graphics. The sprite graphics of the NES/SNES era age much better than do the primitive polygonal graphics in FF7. At the time, it was a graphical powerhouse, but now it just looks terrible.
