I feel like demos are less of the norm than they used to be though? I used to get demos of all the new PS1 games in monthly magazines if I liked the look of them (granted you had to buy the mag) and it seems much easier to search for old PC demos online than with newer games. I think bundles can make the stats slightly misleading. There have been times when I've bought a bundle just for one game. In that case I don't really feel like those other games 'count' as being in my inventory or me having paid for them, especially if they're not redeemed or I gift them. :)

Hmm, I found the original the easiest non-rpg Mario game. The easiest 2d one at least. I only bothered attempting to complete all the other ones with an emulator and 'save state'. :p

I'm very glad SoM is on the list. :) I know that in terms of story it's much simpler than say Chrono Trigger (which I love, especially as I love time travel and Frog) but SoM is just *so* magical to me. I don't know if I've misunderstood but I think you can do that. Right click a game in library, do properties, updates and then the last option is about background downloads. Then you can pick 'always', 'never' or 'global'. :)
