The thing you have to remember is that blackface was borne out of centuries of oppression, and this is a television show which a few dweebs are personally offended by. The show is clearly much worse because it offends them.

Minus the fact that the people who were being characterized via blackface suffered hundreds of years of being enslaved. Otherwise, yea, it’s just like that.
