@Purple Dave: well of course. the fact that it is so easy to jailbreak and how quickly each jailbreak comes out shows how easy apple software is to crack. i've said for a long time that apple pc's are "safe" only because of marketshare and people have told me i'm wrong. but the fact is hackers don't want 5% when

@iamgrady: because they use the vzw network to roam so you are probably on the vzw network often. =)

@Fractal the Meek: the reason they want the 3rd party vendors out is because it is the 3rd party that is killing the company.

@dallasmay: the loss year over year is in POST customers. they add a lot of prepaid customers which really aren't important to a company because they are only a month to month thing..no guarantee of revenue. the post customers are the coveted customers...the ones that count in the increase or loss of lines.

@Ozzie, The Last Hairbender: the upswing is for almost a year AFTER the pre's launch so the pre had nothing to do with it. the pre did OK for the company but it wasn't overly successful.

@Trickyhop: that's because sprint is using the vzw towers in your area and you are roaming off their network. new phones don't tell ya when you are roaming..not typically at least.

@Stacy D.: that's because they are both CDMA. same goes with tmo and att...they are both gsm and will roam off one another. boost/nextel roams off no one.

@A Ferret: he will be notified. ya don't have to be replied to directly to get notification...as long as someone replies to a post you commented in. =)

@A Ferret: that's fine since dallasmay is the one that asked how to do it and i was letting him know.

@A Ferret: locate the 3.0 ipsw file via google search. dl it to your desktop. it'll be a couple hundred mb's because the ipsw file is the operating system.

lovely...potbellyman and bald lantern!

@goldentreesang: the program verifies the imei number to verify it is an iphone 4. if it's not an iphone 4 the program won't work so there is no way to steal from the company.

so are we going to harp on this one for a month as well?

@tasteskindasalty: i'd rather have a bar or 2 of signal degradation than an effed up screen i can't see anything on. at least for those having the signal issue with the i4 can cure that quickly and easily with a 2$ case off ebay....you can't just cure the screen issue on your own.

@twomilesfromhome: the iphone has always had an antenna issue. my 1st gen iphone drove me up the wall. couldn't get 2 words out without it dropping signal. they decided the aluminum back interfered with the antenna and made it plastic for the 3g. well it didn't make the signal on my 3g any better. it still

@evanminn01: don't copy/paste my words together to suit your needs.

@DingoJunior: look i never said there wasn't fluff and hot air in that news conference. what i said is this blog has pounded the topic into the sand. there are only so many articles you can post on the same topic beating the same issues to death. there were how many on friday? how many over the weekend? now this
