@corkyt741: and put it on what carrier? it is cdma so it won't work on tmo or att and most of the time verizon won't let you put on an unlocked cdma phone that wasn't sold for their network. so good luck with all that.

@beanperry: for what point? when you unlock it and pop in the tmo sim the 3g doesn't work. 2 different frequencies/tech. so you get your 3g iphone but can only use 2g tech and speed. kinda seems like shooting yourself in the foot.

@dagamer34: and use where? tmo? that is the only other option after all. and it's a crap option. if you unlock it to use on tmo then you don't get 3g service because it is incompatible. it's not compatible with cdma so there goes sprint and verizon. so what is the real point of unlocking it in the USA anyway? …
