Are you new here? :P
For a weird second I thought you meant Doug Jones, the actor, and I was super confused. I’m not even tired!
I don’t want to dismiss or lessen the charges against him, but everything you said, and also, what about that bit with debt and baseball tickets?
His claim that he is impartial was completely swept away by his heavy partisanship. He was nearly the most partisan individual in that entire hearing.
Gerrymandering, voter purges\suppression, filling every level of the judiciary with rightists, jingoistic agitprop to keep the lumpen frothing at the mouth, etc.
I wonder what they’d be saying if Ford had conducted herself like Kavanaugh? Or oh god, Hillary during Benghazi! I am in such a terrible mood right now.
I’ve posted this before but for every person who blathers on about “innocent until proven guilty”...this is not a criminal trial. This is an job interview for the highest court in the land.
What a fucking farce. They held the hearing just to say they did and are now pushing him through. Based solely on his behavior (spouting conspiracy theories, yelling, emotionally erratic, petulant, entitled...) during the hearing, he does not have the temperament for the job.
Yeah, in a reasonable, not sexist and absolutely ridiculous country, this testimony would cost him his current position as a federal judge, but here in America, it probably won’t even cost him a promotion.
My mother watched this and her reaction was that this guy shouldn't be a judge, period. Not even in traffic court and that's regardless of what you believe about the accusations against him.
Additionally, I never realized she had a boob job until this picture. Not doing either of them any favors in the chestal regions.
It’s weird being 30 or 40 years younger and going, “You really need to compose yourself. Ranting about the Clintons isn’t doing you any favors”.
I feel like it’s being lost in the media that Kavanaugh, in his opening statement, picked apart Ford’s testimony as if it was his job to do so AND that he said this was “revenge for the Clintons.” That should immediately disqualify him as he can’t be impartial. It also confirms that one dude’s story about Kav being…
In what world is Bella Hadid only 21. She looks like a grown ass woman. I think she’s beautiful, but I also think she looks like a hot divorcee with a young child at home in that pic.
I would never conduct myself like that, much less at a job interview. But, then again, I’m a woman, so if I raised my voice and interrupted people like he did, I’d be a bitch.
He also yelled to men but was especially rude to all the women. Would you conduct yourself like this in a job interview? Or anywhere? He was rude, yelled to senators and interrupted them ad nauseam. If I hadn’t hated him before, I sure would hate him now.
I find it most odd, indeed, that I immediately recognized of whom you wrote “Mint Julep”...what is wrong with me?
Good question. I’d like to add: Should Supreme Court Justices need notes from their lawyers reminding them not to answer questions with a question? He’s literally being assessed, and answered a question about getting black out drunk like a fucking child, only to be handed a note from his lawyer, and then apologized…
Nothing about his performance today inspires confidence. A) I don’t believe him. B) His incredulity toward being questioned at all is off putting. C) He has a very lousy temperament and seems to really struggle with expressing himself.
