Thanks for the perspective. I’d heard people saying it’s such great satire and so hilarious, so I felt like I’d gotten that early on. Good to know they develop it more! I’ll add it back to the list ;)

When I saw the trailer, it seemed like it could have actually been really funny. I haven’t seen it, but your critique that it isn’t absurd enough seems right. It’s such a weird plot with so many holes that it does seem like they would just have to lean into the silliness.

Agreed. I come in with ideas but rely on my stylist to make adjustments that are flattering to my face, appropriate for my hair texture, etc. I want them to tell me if they think my bangs should be shorter or if I need more layers to achieve the style I want want.

I can’t decide how I feel about the fit. I understand not wanting something very tight for an occasion like this (or in general; being comfortable is awesome) and she looks fantastic, but it does seem maybe a little baggy/sloppy in spots? It looks so great in the formal pictures though.

I’ve found some at Goodwill. Used bookstores are another good source. I have no shame about re-reading them every couple of years.
