I would take you up on that. I drive an E39 M5 and it’s the best thing I’ve ever driven, but I’ve always been curious about the V10. There’s something special about those high-revving M engines.

I have a hunch that people who say this haven’t owned either car. My old E90 M3 was the most reliable car I’ve ever owned, and my E39 M5 has been excellent.

Doug DeMurano.

I had the exact same question recently - 60k max budget for a daily driver and I hate depreciation. Ended up spending 21k on a 2003 M5 and I don’t think there’s a new car made today I’d rather be driving. And I’ll be saying that right up until the moment when the radiator fan explodes and puts a hole in the hood.

LOL @ everyone in this thread defending their Infiniti purchase. Is complementary Mensa membership one of their new lease incentives?

The craigslist email I always seem to get: “i’ll give u [outrageous lowball offer] cash and I can do tha deal today.”
