Quiet, You trash!

Rumor has it they queen coming back will be decided by vote. In that case I really think it'll be Trixie. I'm pissed Max was sent home, and wish it could be her coming back, but I doubt it'll happen.

Ain't nothin' wrong with a bar cart full of whiskey!

I have a nice little bar cart that I use, but it definitely has limited space. I have to cull the herd occasionally. It's a good reason to use up something in a fun new cocktail - it can also inspire you to create something new.

You absolutely should.

If I had a vagina it might be more of a possibility... Ha!

Yeah, I've had a few dangerous parties! I once made a fantastic watermelon cocktail punch for a party and people just downed it like it was lemonade. Halfway through the party it went completely off the rails. Shoes were thrown.

Having dozens and dozens of bottles of obscure liqueurs and spirits is my passion. People always comment on my bar-cart the first time they come to my house. It's a source of pride.

Honestly, they're the same thing. Both are basically meat/vegetables boiled in water. Both can include aromatics/spices/other flavorings. The nonsense of "bone broth" is really about how fucking annoying the "culture" is around it. It's just stupid.

This! Why do people not understand this? Also, The issue of food deserts plays here. There are neighborhoods that do not have access to actual grocery stores - they only have access to corner stores and kwiki-marts, where fresh produce is just not available.

These women didn't have "scads of money" in the end. When Big Edie divorced her husband she was cut off from family, and funds. All she was left with was Grey Gardens, but no money to keep it up. Even her two sons refused to help her financially.

Nicely put. I think the way Monica has handled this is incredibly inspiring. What she has been through is horrible. I don't know if I'd have the same strength.

You realize someone can be asexual and queer at the same time, right? The two are not mutually exclusive. You don't get to decide who get "membership" in our community.

"There's still a lot of places where culinary scope is very narrow, and being adventurous is either simply not possible, or seen as pointless/exorbitant/hedonistic."

When you hear "veggie burger" do you get an image of some vegetables on top of a skinny burger of beef?

Ugh, I know a couple of brothers who spent two weeks in Scotland, and now say things like "at University" or "come back to my flat." It has been ten years, dudes. Stop it.

I am 95% sure that I would never have seen or heard of okra if I hadn't left my hometown at age 18. It's just not something people eat there. This is a town that still sees sushi as something bizarre and foreign.

Oh my god, Victoria Holt! When I was a fifteen year old gay boy I was completely obsessed with her books. I got some pretty major side-eye from my lit teacher, but I didn't care! I'm now in my forties, and I desperately want to re-read some of them, but I'm afraid it will ruin my memories!

"I love you."

Every time you comment you sound dumber and dumber.... You might want to stop now.
