The bugger in the short sleeves fucked up my White House
Did it quick then split…

The first lines of the song are "Oh Mr. Robinson and his quango, dirty dealer, expensive car…" so it's an easy mistake for us unBrits to make. It took years of listening until one day I wondered, "How exactly does one tango in a car?" and got Googley wit' it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of albums as physical artworks, and still purchase almost everything on vinyl or CD. I'm even compelled to make my own CDs of music I purchase digitally. And I like supporting good artists.

Plus I'm sure you want the artwork, liner notes and lyrics that come with the legitimate CD purchase.

Yes, especially since the movie is entirely about sound.

I never heard the B-52s as a kid, so although I loved "Mr. Popeil" it took me at least a decade to figure out the style parody.

I actually think his analysis of Six Feet Under is so good that it can be read and enjoyed without watching the show.

YESSSSSS. Teti's dissection of Six Feet Under S1-2 was stellar. I have faith that he'll illuminate some dark corners in S3, which mightily tried my patience/faith also on first viewing.

Hey, just a few more years and it'll be time for the 20th anniversary reboot…

In addition to the ripe cheesiness of "America", in the early '80s Neil Diamond also dropped one of pop's all-time rankest turds, "(Turn On Your) Heartlight". That's the kind of one-two punch for which an artist deserves two decades of critical exile.

If you're in a band, and the person you're dating leaves you for another member of the band, you've been Ramoned.

I don't know if Q.U.E.E.N. is going to hold up to 500+ listens like Tightrope has.

Would y'all like some more-a?
Right here on the flora?
