Fook off ya bellend, innit.
The Darko parents made me want to be in that family. From Dad's subtle reaction to "I'm voting for Dukakis", to their barely concealed amusement after meeting about Donnie in the principal's office, to the exchange between Mom and Donnie about what it's like to have a "crazy" son ("It feels wonderful.")… Just lovely.
Great paté, but I gotta motor if I'm gonna make it to the Heathers pilot's funeral.

Cope's even meaner in "Conspiracist Blues", a little ditty about Madonna, Margaret Thatcher, and Courtney Love going over Niagara Falls in a rowboat:
Yes, I look forward to reading it while listening to that 30th anniversary remaster of Purple Rain that we've all been enjoying so much since 2014.

How great would it be if Max Von Sydow broke character in this movie to drop his best line from Hannah And Her Sisters?
The plodding monotony is part of what makes the song work, for me. The unending, joyless bump-and-grind of the music is a perfect match for the lyrics about nonstop fucking long past the point of enjoyment.
YESSSSSS
Who wore it better?
Every album mentioned so far is worth hearing, especially his collaborations with Conny Plank. My personal favorite is Moebius, Plank & [Mani] Neumeier's Zero Set, a hyperspeed techno/worldbeat collision made years before either techno or worldbeat was a thing.
