Except... we won. I just can’t get that mad about it.
Except we won.
The guy threw a good bit on Opening Day. You pull him when he’s ready to go, and “letting a man on base” isn’t necessarily the only signal. A win’s a win, no matter how many innings he goes.
Did Ken Rosenthal write this article? I had my doubts, but then I saw the misinformed Dallas Keuchel jab.
Good move, bad move, we got a W
As a fan, I can assure you, winning the opening series of the year in the Bronx and being 3-1 today is exciting, given the current state of the organization as outlined in the post.
I’ve been waiting for the Schreier breakdown of how this fell apart far more than the game itself.
O’s fan here. 100% on board and loved the move. We finally have a front office committed to development. Hyde is a rookie manager with the balls to stick to the plan. It’s gonna be a rough go this year, but if you knew about the previous regime, you’re LOVING that there’s a plan in place for real this time.
Eh, it’s hitting a bit of a dry stretch?
And here I was worried this sort of thing was subjective, and that I liked some of them. Thanks for setting me straight bud.
Eh, it’s an easy mistake to make, they don’t make it entirely clear at first glance.
You know...that’s a possibility. Games/Gaming wouldn’t be a distinction I would have been able to make especially being a largely Reddit Newbie at the time.
Are you sure you’re not thinking of /r/gaming? That’s the one that’s mostly images, gifs, and memes. /r/Games is mostly news and discussion.
It’s a pretty ingenious move. The people who are most pissed off and inclined to misbehave can’t do anything about it all day, after which their impotent rage at “SJWs” will have subsided like a goldfish taking another lap around its bowl.
Short version: their fans.
it’s a matter of principle
This season is going to suck. I hate how MLB incentivizes teams not to compete (or doesn’t penalize not trying). But that’s the world we live in.
3/4 of the AL will be a joke this year.
Sigh, I get the joke and not to be that guy, but please let’s not confuse being intentionally dumb and mean spirited as the same as being intellectually disabled.
