I did yes, but the point still stands. I can see this is very deep and personal for you, and you’re guard is very up, so nothing I or anyone says on the matter will make you see it from a different perspective. Either way, yay for Linda and video game collectors.
Dave Grohl is from the DMV and pays homage and due respect to all Black artistry including GO-GO. I disagree with your header as he has always been about the music of our folks with humility and reverence. Always. Idk where the privilege was presented especially since he publicly and privately gave Tony Thompson his fl…
All of this because he lives in a country where the cost of healthcare would kill him otherwise. This is all great and warm and fuzzy, but let’s not forget that this would not be necessary in a country with a working healthcare system for its citizens.
Yeah, there’s a grey area for things like “Fuller House”, which reboot the original premise of the show with new characters in similar situations but still feature connections to and appearances from the original cast, but things like “Will & Grace” were literally billed as just new seasons/episodes.
Only some of these are “reboots;” many are “revivals.
Teams is fine. Our department has been using it for the past year. Zoom, on the other hand, is fucking garbage.
Yep, I gave up on most PvP games ages ago. It’s all far too toxic with either cheaters or people spewing hateful and racist speak. Ive got better things to do with my limited amount of free time.
Honestly, there’s no way this can be explained away as just being stream-of-consciousness from someone who’s not legitimately antisemitic. I’m Jewish, and in 33 years I’ve never heard someone use the word (let alone call me it) except in movies or to specifically list it as a racial slur. And it’s not like it’s out…
I don’t like it when fans “demand” that some celebrity say something or stand up for their causes. It’s creepy and weird. They don’t owe you that. Also, once you “demand” it, then it becomes performative, even if it’s how they truly feel.
I think people forget that not everyone has the same level of engagement with social media or the news and that many people’s first response to hearing distressing information about a friend or former coworker may not be to address it in a public forum.
This really bums me out. It’s an amazing system, but one that already isn’t imitated nearly enough. A patent isn’t going to encourage teams to pay WB, it’s going to simply stop them from including this feature, or, from smaller teams, from even attempting anything like this, due to them not understanding the legal…
When you have to grind and grind and grind for one rare drop, games stop being fun.
The first sentence of that statement was so full of buzzy jargon BS my brain melted and died a little....
You can get the best endings in ME3 without touching the MP; you just have to do everything.
There they go, walking down the hall like a bunch of zombies, heads buried in their devices.
The NYT, and these parents, need to mind their own fucking business. Whenever I hear parents talking about how their kids need to play less games or spend less time on the computer, THIS is what I think of:
“What are you going to do when you’re married and stressed? Tell your wife that you need to play Xbox?”
As a mid-30s guy who played a lot of games, specifically Animal Crossing and its built in sense of virtual community, during all of this to keep sane and in touch with friends and family, this NYT article can kindly fuck off. I’ll keep sussing my 8-year-old nieces and nephews in Among Us from afar on a weekly basis (be…
