When it takes 4 fucking patches to get a game even working, we have a serious problem. When this is treated like business as usual...We have a massive problem with the entire industry. We need to start to hold game developers accountable for this nonsense.

"That read made every English teacher in America happy." Uh, what? Does every announcer need to sound like that guy from the old WWF broadcasts?

I agree. The problem isn't that they bumped the ilevel...I mean light level. It's that the vendor gear is better than the raid gear. Usually mmos introduce venders that have gear that's slightly worse than the raid gear. That way those that didn't raid can still catch up while your hardcore fan add has a slight

When I level my Hunter in Wow to max level 100, he's a level 100 no matter what gear I have on. But my character still gets more powerful if I have all the latest raid gear as opposed to the greens and blues I leveled with. Once I hit max level in WoW, ilevel is what matters, and really, light level is the same

TL:DR = "We learned nothing from the Mass Effect 3 ending debacle".

That was true up until Blizzard decided to troll their entire userbase and add in ground based healing effects and buffs. Now you gotta know what to stand in and what to get out of.

Like I said, you get a few week grace period, after that, you should either find a group specifically for those that haven't run it before and want that experience, or learn the fights. Why should my group of 5 be held back because 1 person does not want to put in the effort the rest of us did to learn the fights?

The general rule is pretty simple and quite fair if you ask me. You get a two-three week grace period where you are not expected to know anything and people have a lot of patience with newbies learning new content. After that, you are expected to know/research/learn the fights.
For the most part however, the concepts

Try different roles

Dude, it's clearly hyperbole that it would end my relationship. But it would cause a conflict as vacations are supposed to be spent together, not sitting in front of the TV playing a game I can play at home. Most people don't like having things such as a video game placed at a higher precedence than the

No thank you. Gear is already too expensive in terms of mats to upgrade. And the new exotics level up really quick. Like Legendary levels of quick. I like the current system OK, just make Xur a permanent fixture with a weekly rotation. He offers enough gear to upgrade to be fair yet still some level of RNG. Now

I would be OK with this. The weekly rotation does add some interest and excitement. "IT's XURSDAY!!!" But the limited availability is a kick to the crotch for no good reason.

3) Is not too bad. I turned in a quest for Thorn the day the patch dropped and got the new version. I've done basically two days worth of bounties and it's already 60% leveled. Pre-expansion it would maybe have two bubbles at this point.

For a lot of us that action would end up in divorce.

Friday morning to Sunday morning. It's a 48 hour window. For some us in the US, the timer starts at 3 am. So if I go away for a weekend (This weekend for example I need to get up at 7am to leave for the day not returning until 12 at night), my available window to visit Xur is tonight for about an hour after I get

The best part? It's actually CHEAPER and more effective to just buy new gear from Xur instead of upgrading it. Then you shard the old gear for FUN and PROFIT.

Isn't SWTOR free to play? Do you even have to buy expansions in that game? Maybe if Destiny offered micro-transactions...

I'm sure that having a much better understanding of mechanics to expect from VoG helped a lot. Plus I bet there are a healthy amount of Gjallarhorn's and Ice Breakers in that group. I'm sure it will take the rest of us mortals a bit longer to complete.

Xbox and PS have the same weekly strike lists. The added strikes in PS are not part of the rotation.

They also cost a lot more money per expansion. And if Destiny didn't come out with more content, people would be complaining there was nothing to do. So Destiny gets punished for offering less content, faster, cheaper? Again, Bungie isn't stopping anyone from doing anything other than playing the new content. Sure
