I don't know if it's necessarily Valentina's "fault" but it also costs nothing to say "Hey, cut it the fuck out."

Ah, yeah. I suppose you're right. I guess between that and Cynthia's look it all blended together in my mind.

While I could see throwing Alexis in the bottom just because of how she acted on the runway, I'm kind of surprised by all the "should have been in the bottom" comments because I genuinely did think she was just "not as good" in the pilot and while the bodysuit wasn't great I thought her look was more Club Kid than

They kind of did that when Latrice came back to revive her prison guard character for the mini challenge in season 7. Although that was kind of a gag on the "returning queen" bit.

Alyssa against Roxxxy, maybe?

I think it's the actual cameramen/producers though? Not the pit crew.

That's a great perception on personas and Valentina's "professional actress" affect. Maybe that's why as a cisgender woman that video struck me as so weird. Like "Wow, now is not the time to do THAT."

I've actually had that "rehearsed" problem with Valentina since the before the show and she did that Instagram video about that altercation outside the nightclub and her entire tone was like, "Heeeeey. ;) How are you? ;) I want you to know I'm fine. ;) It wasn't a hate crime. [kisses the camera]" I feel like a jerk

I remember seeing trailer/footage for it a while ago and thinking it looked pretty dire. There was a lot of manufactured drama between Alyssa-out-of-drag and her family members that took itself too seriously.

Oh come on, do we not remember Jujubee messy crying for 20 minutes on Untucked and screaming that she wanted her Dad? I don't mean to unload on you personally, because I agree with you that Alaska is handling the backlash incredibly well (something that Phi Phi never learned and often wish she did). I just get

I felt like Coco being the victim of the Phi Phi/Alyssa feud was karma for the Coco/Alyssa feud sinking so much time in Season 5.

Jiggly Caliente was in there too.

I think a lot of the winners have had some level of look as well as talent, though. Sharon had a lot of creativity if not high-fashion. Chad was very look but could do a bit of everything. Bianca was a solid seamstress even though she does very similar cuts. And while Bob was clearly Team Talent her two runners up

Watching Phi Phi this season is like watching Dr. Jekyll try to hold back Ms. Hyde.

I'm part of the minority who likes Ginger (Kennedy I can't defend as much), so Season 7's Untucked didn't bother me.

Yep! I got to use that .gif in response to a hate mail I got once, so I owe Willam for that one.

My absolute favorite may still be the Willam vs. Phi Phi fight, but that was the high point of Season 5's Untucked, true.

There was a lot of "WE'RE REALLY MAD AT EACH OTHER … but we're going to be passive aggressive and not really talk about it. ONLY WE'RE GOING TO BITCH AT EACH OTHER ALL THE TIME." So it was just this thing that the audience couldn't get invested in but sucked up so much airtime. (Untucked was definitely the worst that

Ooof. Joan of Arc would have been way better.

Yeah, I was going to say. I remember what Detox was doing on social media during that time period (and laughed at some of it — I'm not going to lie) with lip syncs and costumes making fun of Phi Phi and it was definitely on Willam's behalf.
